Ghost River Outfitters

Canoe:  Rent a canoe for a day on the Ghost Section for $45.  Our canoes are stable, durable and usually the first choice for groups and/or couples.  Each of our canoes will comfortably seat two.  A third paddler is acceptable only if he/she is under 90 lbs.  Canoes have plenty of room for gear and lunch.  Most finish their journey down the Ghost Section in a canoe between 4 and 6 hours.

Kayak:  Rent a kayak for a day on the Ghost Section for $35.  We carry both "sit-in" and "sit-on-top" kayaks for rent.  Our kayaks are very stable and highly maneuverable.  Contrary to popular belief, these boats make navigation much easier for the unexperienced paddler.  We recommend kayaks for anyone with little experience in paddling.  These single person boats are equipped with great storage (obviously not as much as a canoe) for any gear or food you plan to bring.  We also carry one tandem (two person) kayak for rent at $45. 

SUP:  Rent a stand-up paddleboard on the Ghost Section for $55.  These are for the true adventurist.  Advanced level of paddling is required to rent a SUP.  Operating a paddleboard requires a high fitness and balance level.  We use these handy vessels as guideboats when leading folks down the river.  

Additional Services

Guide:  We offer a guide service available to all customers for $95.  This is an excellent option for large groups who may feel that they have their hands full.  Moreover, the guide experience offers paddlers an authentic feel for the Ghost River - along with a chance to spot some of its many wild inhabitants.

Shuttle:  Our shuttle service is the most convenient choice for anyone that owns their own boat.  You no longer have to take two cars to paddle the Ghost Section.  We will take you and your boat up river for $10.

Directions
"1 hour from downtown Memphis"

1.  Drive East on Hwy 57 (Poplar Ave) 2 miles past Moscow, TN.

2.  Turn right on Bateman Rd.

3.  Drive 2 miles to Bateman Bridge.

4.  Park in the public access parking lot next to the Wolf River.

5.  Board the Ghost River shuttle for a short drive up river.
